Mental Health Challenges
Mental health difficulties include conditions that affect a person’s thinking, feeling, behavior or mood. When significant, these conditions impact an individual’s daily living and, possibly, their ability to interact with others. Mental health issues include depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, schizophrenia and others.
Dungarvin provides supports to individuals with mental health conditions in a variety of different settings, depending on their needs and the state in which they live. These can include day programs, in-home and host-home services, residential services, case management, hourly supports and vocational/supported employment services.
Staffed by mental health specialists, these programs offer a foundation of support that assist individuals in learning coping strategies, building confidence and living their lives in ways that are meaningful to them. Our staff is there to help through the tough times, offer encouragement, and celebrate the progress individuals achieve.
