Sara Wagner, a Senior Collections Coordinator with Dungarvin, recently celebrated her 20-year Milestone Anniversary with the organization. Joining her for a luncheon at the Dungarvin headquarters were her team members and several Dungarvin leaders, including Founders Tim and Diane Madden.

Sara started with Dungarvin as a Direct Support Professional and later, Residential Program Coordinator, supporting people in Dungarvin Minnesota group homes. She joined the Accounts Receivable (AR) team in 2012 as an Accounting and Billing Specialist. She was promoted to her current position in 2019.

Sara is known as a hard-working, dedicated team player, said (AR) Manager Tammy Simning in a speech she gave during the luncheon. “When one of her colleagues needs assistance, has a question or is facing a challenge, Sara is someone they can turn to. She consistently goes above and beyond to support the team.”

Dungarvin is in the middle of implementing Workday, a major transformation and streamlining of its business and human resources systems, and Sara has been an invaluable resource for the AR team, Tammy added. “All the changes can be challenging and having someone who is knowledgeable and willing to help others navigate the process makes a tremendous difference.”

When asked about her two decades with Dungarvin, Sara said the best part has been the people with whom she works. “I’ve been fortunate to work alongside some truly amazing people, who have become much more than co-workers. They’ve supported me through challenges, celebrated successes with me and made even the busiest days more enjoyable.”

In addition, Sara said Dungarvin provided her the opportunity to grow as a professional within the field, even during a difficult time in her life. “I had been injured and Dungarvin allowed me to transition to a different area within the company. That opportunity allowed me to develop an entirely new skill set that I never imagined I would have, and it has opened the door for me to grow and advance in my career. I am truly grateful for the support and opportunities I have received throughout my time here.”

Congratulations, Sara! Your Dungarvin family salutes you on this amazing Milestone.
