Robert Bachicha, Dungarvin Vice President of Operations and Executive Regional Director, recently celebrated his 20-year Milestone anniversary with the company. More than 15 of Robert’s colleagues, and his family, joined him at the Denver ChopHouse & Brewery for a delicious dinner, camaraderie and heartfelt toasts to the man of the hour. The party included founders Diane and Tim Madden and CEO Lori Kress, who praised Robert for his great leadership.

“Robert’s focus is consistently tied to what is best for the people we support,” Lori said. “He never loses sight of our mission, and it guides his work and leadership. And if that’s not enough, he has a great sense of humor!”

The Washington team threw Robert a surprise Milestone anniversary party.

Two days before the Denver event, the Dungarvin Washington team surprised the VP with a Milestone anniversary party in Olympia. Four years ago, Robert led a project in Washington to acquire four Embassy Management businesses, establishing Dungarvin operations in that state.

“His efforts during the transition from Embassy to Dungarvin were pivotal in aligning operations and providing the cultural touchstone that helped us retain approximately 400 employees who came on board on in August 2022, and they still part of our organization,” said Dungarvin Northwest Regional Director Brent Aberg.

While in Washington, the team asked Robert to describe his favorite moment from his Dungarvin career.

“There isn’t one single moment that stands out; it’s the collection of experiences over the years that makes me proud to be part of Dungarvin,” Robert answered. “So, rather than one favorite moment, I celebrate 20 years of meaningful moments that reflect who we are and what we stand for.”

Thinking about his recent visit to Washington, Robert said, “Meeting the people we serve and our Direct Support Professionals reminded me of why we do what we do. They truly embody our mission of ‘respecting and responding to the choices of people in need of supports.’ Our DSPs are caring, dedicated and committed to helping others, and I’m honored to work alongside them.”
