In 2011, Brenda Linden began her career with Dungarvin as a Direct Support Professional, serving people in need of supports in Oregon. Later in her career, she became a Program Director, then Area Director and, eventually, the Dungarvin Oregon State Director.
Brenda recently celebrated her 15-year Milestone Anniversary with her Oregon team, as well as colleagues beyond the state operation, during the Dungarvin Northwest Region 2027 Plan kickoff event in SeaTac, Washington. Among the attendees were Dungarvin Vice President Robert Bachicha, Northwest Regional Director Brent Aberg and Brandy Gerdes-Schutz, Senior Director of Compass Career Solutions, a Dungarvin company based in Washington.
Reflecting upon her time with the organization, Brenda said she couldn’t have imagined the journey that shaped her career.
“Looking back, I am deeply grateful for the trust, support and growth opportunities that have allowed me to progress into the role I hold today,” she said. “Especially meaningful, are the relationships I’ve built along the way, with the individuals we support, my peers, all of the staff and mentors who have taught me so much and helped me grow both personally and professionally. Dungarvin has consistently encouraged internal growth and continuous learning, and I am thankful to work for an organization that believes in investing in its people.”

Brent congratulated and thanked Brenda for her great work over the years, and he commended her for maintaining a strong leadership team. “Brenda has made significant contributions to the organization, and I’m so glad we had the opportunity to celebrate her Milestone Anniversary,” he said.
Brenda also expressed gratitude to Dungarvin for the opportunity to enjoy a fulfilling career while raising a family. “Being able to continue learning, growing and taking on new challenges throughout different stages of my life has been an incredible blessing. I am proud of how far I have come and excited about what lies ahead.”
Congratulations, Brenda! Your colleagues around the country are proud of you and thankful you are part of the Dungarvin family.
