After spending nine years as a stay-at-home mom, Christine Kosmatka rejoined the workforce, taking a position with a different disability services company in Indiana. Just one month into that job, Dungarvin acquired that company, and, fortunately, Christine came along with the transition.
This month, she’s celebrating her 10-year Milestone Anniversary with Dungarvin, where she has worked in two different capacities: eight years in Talent Development, and the last two years with the Consumer Benefits team. As an Individual Finance and Billing Coordinator, she helps ensure that people supported by Dungarvin receive and maintain the benefits they need and deserve.
“It’s rewarding to know that the work I do supports their well-being and quality of life,” she said.
Tracie Naillieux, Dungarvin Indiana State Business Manager, said Christine’s exceptional work ethic is tied to her compassion for individuals served.
“She is deeply passionate about ensuring the people we support receive the highest quality of care and services. Whether she was training Direct Support Professionals to provide person-centered support or, in her current role in the Business Department, helping individuals manage their finances and maintain critical benefits, Chris approaches her role with dedication, caring and attention to detail.”
In addition to her professional contributions, Christine brings joy and positivity to those around her. “She has a wonderful sense of humor and is known for her creative office pranks, from hiding in boxes to filling offices with balloons. She also decorates workspaces to celebrate special occasions,” Tracie said.
“Throughout my decade at Dungarvin, I have experienced moments of laughter, growth and even a few tears,” Christine said. “Most importantly, I have built lifelong friendships and connections that I deeply value. Looking back, I am grateful for the opportunities, experiences and amazing people who have made my Dungarvin journey so memorable.”
