Dungarvin Indiana Office Manager Carolyn Williams has worked in administration for more than 20 years, first within the home mortgage industry before coming to Dungarvin.
What do you like most about your job?
I like the diversity and being able to put a smile on the clients’ faces by showing humility.
What do you most value about your Dungarvin team?
I value their friendliness, respect, empathy, communication, foster positive culture, adaptability and honesty.
How did the place where you grew up shape who you are today?
The place where I grew up made me appreciative of the little things in life. It led me to become spiritual and sympathetic toward other people’s needs. Because of where I grew up, I understand the struggles that one may have in their life. It also made me value family and friends and be a better person by caring and giving to others.
What do you like to do for fun?
I like spending time with my children and grandchildren at birthday parties. I love dancing, bowling, skating, barbecuing on the grill and singing in church choir. I also love drawing and decorating, going out to eat and shopping.
Who are your heroes in life and why?
One hero in my life is the solid rock that is Jesus Christ because he has given me salvation. I also would say that my children are my heroes because I’ve been a single parent for more than half of their lives and they are successful and still striving to be better.
