Out-of-Home Children's Services in Washington
Residential services for children and youth with disabilities
Out-of-Home Children’s Services in Washington provide safe, supportive residential care for children and youth with intellectual and developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs who cannot live in their family homes.
Services focus on emotional development, daily living skills, stability, and individualized planning that reflects each child’s strengths and needs. Children live in supervised group settings with trained staff who provide 24-hour care, structure, and nurturing support.
Teams collaborate closely with families, schools, case managers, and other providers to support reunification when possible or long-term placement when needed. Dungarvin currently offers children’s residential services in King and Snohomish counties, helping youth build resilience, skills, and hope for the future.
