Therapeutic Foster Care in North Carolina
Higher level support and care for children
Therapeutic Foster Care is a mental health service provided to a child in a family setting by specially trained foster parents. This service through ACI Dungarvin in North Carolina supports children whose needs are greater than typical foster care, including treatment for children with emotional, behavioral and developmental needs.
Foster parents follow individualized plans and work closely with clinical and support teams to promote safety, stability, and progress toward each child’s goals. Supports vary depending on the needs of the individual and family, allowing services to adjust as circumstances change.
ACI Dungarvin has been a Licensed Child Placing Agency for North Carolina since 2008.
