Job coaching and support for adults with disabilities

At ACI Dungarvin, Supported Employment Services include pre-job training, education, and development activities designed to prepare individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities for meaningful work-related activities.

Services may include career and educational counseling, active job searching, job shadowing, assistance in the use of educational resources, training in resume preparation, job interview skills, and study skills, as well as the assistance necessary for job retention.

These supports help adults explore career interests, build workplace confidence, and maintain employment, giving families and advocates a clear path to the most relevant support category for each person’s goals.
