Home & Community-Based Services in North Carolina
Community-based supports to help people remain at home
Home and community-based services (HCBS) in North Carolina include a variety of health and human services delivered in people’s homes and communities to address social isolation, other social determinants of health, and help people stay in their homes as long as possible.
ACI Dungarvin North Carolina works toward this vision by providing person-centered supports in non-institutional settings, such as family and therapeutic foster homes, Alternative Family Living homes, supportive living in a person’s own home, respite, and supported employment services.
Our programs are designed to promote safety, independence, and community inclusion while honoring each person’s choices, relationships, and routines across the counties we serve.
