Crisis Respite Services in Minnesota
Stabilizing and supporting individuals with complex medical and behavioral needs
Crisis respite services for adults provide short-term behavioral and medical residential support when extra help is needed to protect the person or others in the home. Our crisis respite homes are staffed by team members trained in crisis prevention, intervention, and resolution, working closely with our positive supports team.
We conduct assessments to identify the factors driving the crisis and offer recommendations for updates to the person’s support plan. From there, we develop individualized intervention plans to help prevent or reduce future crises and increase stability.
With a focus on returning the person to their community, we create a plan and provide consultation and training to providers and caregivers to support a smooth, successful transition.
