The Adult Family Caregiver program in Colorado gives individuals the option to receive care in their own family home, supported by a trusted relative or family caregiver. This approach keeps loved ones close while helping adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities stay safe, stable, and connected to their communities.

Dungarvin provides training, guidance, and ongoing oversight so families feel confident in their caregiving role. When life brings unexpected challenges, we can also arrange temporary placements to ensure continuity of care and support.

Supports & Accommodations

24-Hour Support

This program model enables 24-hour support for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
Host Home/Family Living

Participants live with caregivers in a private family-style home or in the home of a family caregiver.
Individual Support

Person-centered support encourages community participation and skill development at the individual’s pace.
Ages Served

Services are tailored to adults age 18 and up, promoting independence and community life.
