What do you like most about your job?

I enjoy helping people find a fulfilling role that works for both them and the company. Although I don’t work directly with the individuals Dungarvin supports, the people I hire have a direct impact on their lives.

I worked as a Direct Support Professional while I was in college, so I can appreciate the challenges of the job, as well as how rewarding it is. I’m glad I still get to be a part of that, this time in a different way.

What do you most value about your Dungarvin team?

I value that we always have each other’s backs. If one of us takes time off or needs to be out of the office on short notice, we can count on each other to cover our work in a high quality manner. Everyone is incredibly supportive and we communicate really well.

What do you like to do for fun?

I like to go to concerts with my husband. My favorite artist is Post Malone and I’ve been to four of his concerts. I try to do a coffee and canvas every few months with my mom, and my painting skills have definitely improved over the years. I’m an avid reader (my current goal is to read 80 to 100 books this year). I also love to travel with my husband and kids. My all time favorite place to travel is Disney (I’m a huge Disney Adult).

What do you consider your greatest achievement?

My greatest achievement is my kids. I have two beautiful boys who are almost 7 and 5, and a baby girl who is almost 1. They bring so much joy, love and craziness into our lives. Funny story: All of my kids shared the same due date and their birthdays are all within four days of each other at the end of August. So, this time of year is definitely busy at our house! I’m currently planning a triple birthday party.

If you weren’t working for Dungarvin, what would be your dream job?

I always wanted to be an orthopedic surgeon. I was a biology major in college on a pre-med track. Unfortunately, chemistry and I did not get along, so I decided to switch to psychology. When my kids are a little older, I plan to get my Master’s degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology.
