Adult Foster Care services in Kentucky provide family-based living arrangements for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities who benefit from a smaller, home-like setting. Participants live in licensed foster homes with trained family home providers who offer 24-hour support, guidance, and companionship in a stable, caring environment.

Dungarvin offers oversight, training, and ongoing communication to ensure each home provides safe, consistent, and nurturing care that meets the individual’s needs. With up to three participants per home, this model supports strong relationships, personal choice, and meaningful participation in family and community life.

Supports & Accommodations

24-Hour Support

This program model provides 24-hour caregiver support for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities in Adult Foster Care Homes.
Family Home Providers

Participants experience family-style living with trained family home providers (FHPs).
Shared Living

Up to three participants live at each site for Adult Foster Care (Residential Support Level II), creating a small, supportive environment.
Ages Served

Services are tailored to adults age 18 and up, promoting independence and community life.
