Greg Degel is the Operations Manager for Sengistix, a Dungarvin company that provides remote support technology. Degel and the other experts at Sengistix work with individuals and those closest to them to build systems that supplement the support they receive from Direct Support Professionals, family members and other caregivers. Before Greg joined the company in 2022, he was the People Operations Manager for Nice Healthcare.

What do you like most about your job?

I enjoy meeting all types of people who need support and working with them to find ideal solutions for their particular situations.

What do you like to do for fun?

I love travel in any form, whether it’s a new country, state or new city. I am currently on a mission to camp at every state park in Minnesota; I’m at 42 out of 66.

If you weren’t working for Dungarvin, what would be your dream job?

When I was young, I applied to the Barnum & Bailey Clown College. It had a 1 percent acceptance rate and provided a job traveling the world clowning around. Unfortunately, I didn’t get in.

Who are your heroes in life and why?

My family. We have been through so much together and it’s a great feeling to know that you have unconditional support and love.

What do you most value about the Dungarvin team with whom you work?

Working with people who always remain positive, give the benefit of the doubt and always assume the best in people.
