At Dungarvin Oregon, we are
committed to our mission of “Respecting and Responding to the
Choices of People with Developmental Disabilities”. Because
each individual we support is unique, we provide services that are
tailored to each person’s own hopes, dreams, goals and needs.
Dungarvin Oregon has
proven to be successful in providing supports to individuals with
complex medical and/or behavioral needs. Individual plans of
service are designed around each person with whom we serve. We
offer a vast range of services and supports in order to meet the
needs and preferences of each individual. The focus of services is
to enhance independence and quality of life.
Dungarvin Oregon
supports the philosophy and practice of supported living, community
inclusion and self-determination. Common services provided are
listed below. Actual services and levels of support would be
adjusted based on the needs and desires of the individual being
supported.
Proctor Care
Program - we are very proud of our Proctor Care program,
which services over 20 children in specialized foster care home.
In addition, the program offers respite-care services. We
provide warm, family-centered environments for the children served
by Proctor Care.
In-Home
Services – a unique and positive way to support children and
adults with special needs who are living at home. Each service
provided is individually designed to meet the needs of the child and
the family, offering additional assistance in order to maintain a
stable home environment.
Residential
Services - we currently provide residential group home
services to more than 30 adults and children in small groups of
three to five people, living in typical homes throughout the
community.
Alternatives
to Work/Day Services - we provide day services to more than
20 people in Portland and Eugene. These programs offer
vocational and Alternative-to-Employment services for those who
attend.
Self-Directed Supports
- we believe in self-direction for all consumers and their families
and in everyday practice, we seek to support and enhance people's
abilities and rights to exercise self-determination in their lives.
These services are tailored to the individual's preferences and
desires.
