  • Director
    The Director is a key position responsible for the overall operation of the state.  Under the supervision of the Regional Director, the Director focuses on achieving valued outcomes for individuals with developmental disabilities by developing a positive corporate climate.  Assures the quality of services meet or exceed all regulatory and licensing standards.  Develops proactive quality assurance mechanisms which include, at minimum, regular assessments of quality at the program level, with upper management verification of this.  Builds an effective state management team through the exercise of leadership.  Conducts effective state administrative team meetings and establishes a supervisory presence in all assigned offices and programs.  Creates and implements local/state office budgets.  Assures sound financial management techniques are used to achieve effective and efficient operation.  Assures the management of funds of all individuals in service and state. Upholds Dungarvin's fiduciary responsibilities.
    Qualifications: The Director should possess a Master's degree in human services or a related field and at least three years of mid-management experience in working with individuals with developmental disabilities or bachelor's degree plus five years experience in progressively more responsible management positions.  Experience in financial management and staff supervision preferred.  Should be a professional team member.  Must have good decision-making, time-management, and communication skills.   • Program Coordinator                                           Caring, compassionate, hardworking team player to provide leadership in homes to Individuals with developmental disabilities.  Flexible schedule including a least one weekend day.  Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, ability to pass criminal background check, reliable vehicle and clean driving record.  Paid training, medical/dental benefits and 401k are some of the benefits we offer.  Starting wages - $12.31/hr.  (Posted 6/11/2008.)
